This is it!!
Yesterday was a wonderful day; I found out where I will be spending the next 2+ years! I’ll be doing community health work as a Peace Corps volunteer in Madagascar. Ahhhh, how nice it is to be able to provide a complete sentence in response to that enormous question now! Not only that, but i gained access to quite a bit of information, albeit basic and generalized information, about the country, what I will be doing, and when. Information can be such a comfort. This has already been such a journey and, obviously, it has only just begun!
I will write more soon, but I better get packing now. Also, on the great suggestion of A & L, I will start posting interesting Madagascar info on here so we can all learn together!
